Join the Lincoln Forum
The Lincoln Forum is an assembly of people who share a deep interest in the life and times of Abraham Lincoln and the Civil War era. Through a roster of activities including symposia, tours, student essay competitions, teacher scholarships, a newsletter, and annual awards to recognize special contributions to the field of Lincoln studies, the Forum endeavors to enhance the understanding and preserve the memory of Abraham Lincoln.
What began more than 25 years ago as a modest proposal to bring Lincoln enthusiasts together for a small East Coast-based yearly history conference at Gettysburg has blossomed into one of the leading history organizations in the country. Today, our regular symposia are attended by hundreds of scholars and enthusiasts from all over the nation and abroad, attracting as speakers and panelists some of the most revered historians in the Lincoln and Civil War fields.
Forum members get the first opportunity to reserve space at the annual November symposium... and much more! All Forum members receive:
A subscription (two issues per year) to The Lincoln Forum Bulletin, edited by Lincoln Forum Vice Chairman Jonathan W. White.
Mailings on all Forum activities, including student essay contests and collaborative ventures with Civil War Round Tables and Lincoln groups nationwide.
Opportunities to join extra events.
We urge you to join us – both at Gettysburg for our annual symposium – and on our membership rolls.
